Class(es): Growing Towards the New: Foundations in Contemporary Art Forms, International Baccalaureate Art / 2016-2018

Prior to beginning this project, students completed visual research based on the discarded or forgotten organic, and a painting that interrogated what a painting could be. This project is a response to the painting, either a sequel, an argument, or an answer to the question. Students were required to use fiber materials: fabric, flexible plastics, thread, fur, yarn and rope.
